The safe way or no way at USA Mechanical & Energy Services
Here at USA Mechanical & Energy Services, safety is a priority for our team and our customers. All of our employees must be OSHA 10 certified, Ladder Safety Training, Scissor Lift Compliance, and Fork Truck trained.
Our team has certifications with both Avetta and Appruv™. Safety is important to us, so training our team members is a priority. Appruv™ & Avetta specializes in online contractor and supplier prequalification for safety and health, OSHA compliance, and regulatory standards. Members of Appruv & Avetta benefit from being recognized for their standard of excellence and commitment to safety and health.
We have a Safety & Health Manual that is continually updated and given to each employee to follow safe practices. Each Employee must sign an acknowledgment that they have received and understand our commitment to Safety & Health.
The safety training for our team includes the following requirements from the latest regulations set forth by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
- OSHA Construction Safety Training (OSHA 10 minimum)
- Confined Space Entry (Including permit required)
- Arc/Flash Training (NFPA 70E) or electrical safety (NFPA 70E)
- HAZCOM (Hazardous Communications)
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created an infectious control plan and an infectious prevention daily questionnaire for our customers.
We have also created a phone app that electronically enables our employees to complete and record an acknowledgment for the plan (one time prior to starting the job) and then a second phone app that allows our employees to complete the screening on a daily basis so that we have that recorded and both can be directly emailed to our customer.
With our mobile app, we also include symptoms and stop the spread of germs forms to our employees both recommendations by the CDC to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
