Employee Spotlight: Jason Maratta

Jay Maratta, our Plumbing/Piping Assistant Field Supervisor, has been working for USA Mechanical & Energy Services for the last 16 years! He is a 1997 graduate from Porter & Chester and he previously worked for New England Mechanical from 1997 – 2002.

Jay has been married to his wife, Erin for 21 years and they have a 15 year old son named Jordan. They are residents of Broad Brook, CT.

In his free time, Jay enjoys running, working out, spartan races and spending time with his family. Jay describes himself as loyal, hard working and honest. He says the best part of working at USA Mechanical & Energy Services is how well he has been treated here and how great the owners are. 

You might be surprised at Jay’s work ethic and the fact that he has had it since he was very young. Jay’s greatest challenge in his life that he had to overcome so far was changing his life style completely and quitting drinking for over 10 years.

Jay’s Biggest Fear: Getting too old to compete in endurance challenges and not being successful.
